Products - EXOVAM/ISOVAM - Conventional Ingot Casting

Insulating or exothermic materials in the form of plates, pads or gloves, used to eliminate grinding during steel casting, base and jet protection in conventional casting, improving the final quality of ingots and reducing losses.

EXOVAM
Exothermic materials in the form of plates or gloves with aluminum strips between 16% and 30%, resistance of 8 kgf/cm², minimum, and densities varying from 0.5 to 1.0 g/cm³.

EXOVAM EXP
Expansive exothermic materials in plate formats with aluminum bands ranging from 16% to 30%, strength of 8 kgf/cm², minimum, and densities ranging from 0.5 to 1.0 g/cm³. The product may be produced as a blend.

ISOVAM
Insulating materials in plate or glove formats, composed of 55%, minimum, SiO2, resistance of 8 kgf/cm², minimum, and densities ranging from 0.5 to 1.0 g/cm³.

SELOVAM
Silicone or magnesium insulating materials, in the form of a glove for protection of the steel jet in conventional casting.

SELOTEC
Plates used between the ingot mold and its base, to avoid penetration of steel during casting, which may be siliceous or magnesium.
